Between the sheep and the dunes, Natrufied architecture designed a new embedded landscape on the beautiful island of Texel with ‘lace patterns’, ‘wild grounds’, ‘garden walls’ and 8 reed covered villas. The existing trees, among them beautiful Chestnut and pine trees, are also integrated into the new layout. From the villas, beautiful views show the typical qualities of the Texel landscape. The typical Texel sheep shed ‘de schapenboet’ was used as a reference for the design of the villas. But is stead of having ‘their butts into the wind’, they put their face into the wind to enjoy the sights and lights of this beautiful area.
