| As part of an invited competition, Natrufied participated in the design for a new eco-village in Hannover. The proposal consists of four main ingredients: Nature, Community, Sustainability and ‘Suffizienz’, the need to use less. All these ingredients are combined into the ‘Lemnicate’ symbol. This symbol of two joined circles, combine the circularity of nature and live with the potential of the crosspoint, where people and activities come together. |
The 500 small houses, from Tiny homes to community living with collective spaces as well as private apartments, are placed around the Lemnicate. All buildings have both a collective garden and shared greenhouses. At the crosssection of the Lemniscate, the landmark building and village square provide community functions for everybody. The floating tiny homes are gathered on top of several rainponds. Project Data |
