We see dwellings as selfsufficient entities that are no longer dependent on external sources of food, electricity and water. Together with their neighbours, the tenants can ensure natural and  sustainable production while connecting with their natural environment. The circular approach to the production and consumption of resources, every residual can be reused as input for the next process, leading to optimal use and minimal waste.These dwellings, as autonomous cells with a circular metabolism, can exchange their over production with their surrounding cluster. Due to this exchange of goods and the use of communal facilities, unexpected  demands and overproduction can be buffered, and production can be done on a efficient scale. Due to this balance by interconnectedness, these bonds can catalyze interaction between neighbours. By diversifying the natural character of these clusters of dwellings, the production is varied, and a large and diverse supply of food can de produced. Moreover; more diversified living environments are created.The combination of autonomy and connections over different scale levels makes the inhabitants profit and enjoy the selfsufficiency of the small scale, but meanwhile profits from the varied offer of food and resources and the resilience and stability of a larger, circular system.
